Dr. DeRocher was raised in LeMars, Iowa as one of seven children. A football injury in high school led him to his local chiropractor who facilitated his return to sports after being told he would no longer be able to participate.

This experience led to Dr. DeRocher to want to help others as he had been helped… through gentle, non-surgical and non-invasive health care.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Mankato State University and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He is also certified to perform acupuncture through the Acupuncture Society of America.

In 2014, Dr. DeRocher became one of the youngest ever Presidents of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, an organization of approximately 800 members. He is also chairman of the Society’s Membership Committee. Dr. DeRocher serves a counselor in the Pinnacle Management Group, a national Chiropractic management group and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Nick belongs to Knights of Columbus, Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce, and Crown’s Club, a local philanthropic organization. He is a former member of the City of Waukee Utilities Board, and St. Boniface Parish Council.

Dr. DeRocher and his wife, Lynn- a chiropractor’s daughter- opened DeRocher Chiropractic in March of 2005. Lynn comes from a family of approximately 30 doctors of chiropractic. Lynn and Nick have three children; Max, Drew and Macy.
